Lincoln City Preview vs Morecambe (H)

Lincoln City will be looking to build on their impressive win at Stevenage as they play host to strugglers Morecambe on Saturday.

The Imps, still sat in second place, have a game in hand on MK Dons and are just two points behind Paul Tisdale’s side.

Opponents Morecambe currently sit in 19th place as they are set to endure another low finish this season.

The Shrimps just survived relegation last season, confirming survival on the final day of the campaign.

The Imps are coming into the clash on the back of an impressive win at Stevenage last weekend. A John Akinde penalty was enough to secure the points would travel back to Lincolnshire with Danny Cowley’s side.

Morecambe’s last game ended in a 2-2 draw with Port Vale, a game in which they led by two goals to nil.

AJ Leitch-Smith and Jason Oswell put them in the driving seat before Anthony Kay and Tom Pope broke Shrimps hearts in the last seven minutes.

Josh Vickers looks set to miss the game with Grant Smith being recalled from his loan spell from Maidstone United.
