QPR are back on the road Saturday to take on a tricky Leeds side.
With a disappointing defeat on Saturday against Hull, QPR will be looking to bounce back with all three points. However, with Leeds new boss and master tactician, Marcelo Bielsa the R’s may only come away with a point from Elland Road on Saturday.
To see our fine form dip of late has been disappointing but was obvious that it was always going to end however, if someone said to me at the start of the season we would go 8 games unbeaten, I would’ve snapped their hand off.
Saturday’s game may see a rest of one or two players as Bidwell, Leistner and Luongo are all on four yellow cards. With important festive fixtures coming up against the likes of Middlesborough and Nottingham Forrest, McClaren has to rest some of the squad in order to keep players fresh
Leeds have had their fair share of injuries as of late. Izzy Brown, Jake Cooper, Stuart Dallas, Bamford, Ayling and Berardi all miss out as they are expected back between the end of December to early February.
With Leeds without some of their starters it will be interesting to see how we can attack any from home and see if we can at least preserve a point.
With good momentum slowing down, it is vital we can beat some of the bigger teams in the league to carry on hoping for a top half finish. With poor shows from Lynch and Leistner abasing Hull, they will need to be on their A-game to prevent the in-form Leeds squad…COYRS!
