After a subdued performance against Nottingham Forest in a game where we never really got going and once again were made to pay for Sunday league mistakes at the back, who better to play than the team that have scored 12 in their last three games and currently sit top of the Championship?
Following a topsy turvy start to the season, Daniel Farke’s Norwich have really hit the ground running, not only getting the results they desired but doing it in spectacular style.
Heading into this one in similar fashion to the way I tackled many of our opening fixtures, with no expectation and quiet optimism, the Tigers are really going to need to pull something out of the bag to leave the home fans anything less than inevitably dissatisfied.
As a result, the unnecessary defensive mistakes are going to need to be cut out, and with that I believe Jordy de Wijs’ place in the side should be taken, with Reece Burke moving to centre-back with Todd Kane coming back in at right-back.
Besides that, it’ll depend on Markus Henriksen’s availability as to whether we see Chris Martin and Fraizer Campbell partner up once more, and although that’s something many fans don’t want to see, the pairing definitely have the ingredients for a fantastic strike partnership, let’s hope we see the best of it some time soon.
Therefore, this is how I think we’ll line-up at the KCOM:
Hull City 2-0 Norwich City
