Saturday see’s in-form QPR take on West London’s other club Brentford.
QPR are riding the crest of the wave at the minute with only one loss in the last eight games, whereas Brentford have only won once in their last eight games…Not great. With a narrow and unfortunate loss on Saturday, QPR will be looking to put one over on Brentford and react with a positive win on Saturday.
Furlong is coming back from injury and may feature. As for Hemed and Cameron, they look to be assessed right up until kick off to see whether or not they will be fit to play as they missed out on the trip to Blackburn last Saturday.
The Bees are only without Henry and Forss for their trip to Loftus road.
Head to head:
Although our recent games against Brentford have been appalling, I am confident that we will beat them on Saturday. QPR’s last win against Brentford was back in 2016 when Chery, Potter and Hoilett’s wonder strike gave QPR all three points that day. Since then we have only managed a 2-2 draw against Brentford.
Although the stats don’t feel me with confidence, our form compared to there’s is a lot better. I am confident of all three points come Saturday as we will make it very hard for Brentford to try and impose their style of play on us. With Lynch and Leistner in fine form it will be interesting in how they manage Bees forward, Neal Maupay who has scored 11 goals in his first 12 appearances for the club.
Nevertheless it will be a shock if we loose to Brentford on Saturday, but it is looking unlikely that we will loose to a weak and out of form Brentford side…COYRS!
