Ipswich Town Preview vs Reading (A)

Ipswich Town travel to fellow strugglers Reading as they search for their second three points of the season.

Paul Lambert takes charge of his first away game as Town boss as he looks to build on last weeks 1-1 home draw with Preston North End.

Ipswich deserves more than a point as Preston were reduced to 10-men when goalkeeper Chris Maxwell was dismissed for a second yellow card.

Reading, on the other hand, will welcome Ipswich on the back of an impressive 3-2 victory over Bristol City. City dominated the game but couldn’t keep Reading out as Leandro Bacuna sealed all three points midway through the second half.
