After a scrappy game against Queens Park Rangers last time out, the Blues return to Ewood Park once again to take on Rotherham United.
The Lancashire outfit will be looking for back to back victories and continue the excellent home form.
In terms of injuries, it is expected that skipper Charlie Mulgrew will return to the squad after a short absence with a back injury. Also, David Raya is likely to still be out after suffering a broken nose, though Mowbray has refused to rule him out.
Predicted starting XI:
Nyambe Mulgrew Lenihan Bell
Reed Dack Bennett
At this point, it seems as though any team had their work cut out when sitting in the visitors dugout at Ewood, and this team should be more than capable of sweeping aside 18th placed Rotherham United.
Harrison Reed is loving life wearing the Blackburn blue, being a standout player for all the right reasons ever since his arrival, surely earning him a starting spot this weekend.
Playing in front of a home crowd, mixed in with our current form as well, I see nothing else other than a Rovers win this weekend. We’re the better team on paper and with us sitting just outside the playoff places, it’s time to make a statement.
