Three wins out of four would make for a very successful October for AFC Bournemouth. Eddie Howe is surely in contention for Manager of the month along with David Brooks who has contributed three goals in four games during an impressive month.
Man United will be the first test of November for Bournemouth and should make for a highly intensive game as the early kick off on Saturday afternoon. United have improved in recent weeks, in particular Anthony Martial with 3 goals in two games and has provided a real cutting edge to their play over the past weeks and Simon Francis at RB will have his work cut out to stop him on Saturday as he’s likely to be the main threat to Eddie Howes outfit.
Last week was a fantastic performance from the Cherries in West London, coming away with a comfortable 3-0 win against Fulham in a game Bournemouth always had complete control over. Callum Wilson adding two to his tally for the season, the second a clinical finish and the impressive Brooks scoring again for the third time in the space of four games.
Opposition player to watch out for – Romelu Lukaku
Maybe not the obvious choice due to the Belgian currently being stuck in the middle of a goal drought. Lukaku has always had a knack for scoring goals when coming up against the Cherries and especially with the poor run he’s currently on, he’ll be eyeing up Saturday’s game as the perfect match to end his barren spell.
Bournemouth – Josh King remains a doubt after missing games against Fulham and Norwich City, Norwich being a Carabao cup game. Other than that a clean bill of health for Eddie Howes outfit for United.
Likely Line up – Asmir Begovic; Adam Smith, Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Nathan Ake, Charlie Daniels; Lewis Cook, Jefferson Lerma; David Brooks, Ryan Fraser, Callum Wilson
Manchester United – Likely to be unchanged from last weeks win against Everton. Phil Jones & Antonio Valencia remain out
Likely Line up – David De Gea; Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Fred, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba; Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial
Score Prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Man United
With Bournemouths attackers on fire right now and Uniteds team possessing the obvious quality. I can see the early kick off fizzling out into a draw.
