Bristol Rovers v AFC Wimbledon- The biggest home game of the season so far

It’s now been five league games since Rovers scored a goal and it is now getting very desperate.

Saturday saw many positives and showed small signs of the goal drought finally ending.

The second half against Oxford saw Rovers create chances much more than the last two games and the game overall between the two strugglers was the fair result.

Tomorrow’s game versus Wimbledon sees Rovers come up against another side who are involved in a relegation battle.

Neal Ardley’s team beat Rovers home and away in the league last year and if they were to win tomorrow that would make it three wins in a row against Rovers.

Darrell Clarke has set the team out in recent weeks to be very defensive and in some fans eyes are very negative which can’t be deemed a wrong opinion.

Against Oxford, he set the team up with no wingers starting and he implemented a 4-3-1-2 formation and employed Ollie Clarke in the diamond role.

Rovers will want to get four points from the two home games against their rivals.

The loser tomorrow will really feel a struggle is on the cards
