After a disappointing loss at home against Everton last time out, the Foxes will look to bounce back against an in-form Arsenal side, the Gunners are on a 6 game winning run in the Premier League, their best run in years. Arsenal are finally adopting the Emery style of play and look to play expansive football. They’ve managed to fix their defensive frailties with the form of Sokratis and Leno finally coming into their own. It’ll be a big test for the Foxes as they’ll be licking their wounds after the last result.
Leicester will be in appreciation of the International break as they’ve had extended time to rest and prepare for the upcoming game. The international break also gave a chance for Ben Chilwell and Harry Maguire to shine on international duty, with Chilwell especially making an impression and making the left-back shirt his own while Maguire has maintained dominant in the centre back position for England. Schmeichel (Denmark) and Ndidi (Nigeria) also impressed on the international stage, with both players ready to come straight back into the fold.
I predict a loss for the Foxes having to go away to an inform Arsenal, if Leicester can remain solid defensively then a push for a draw is possible, being away from home though will count against Leicester and could lead to a hard game.
Arsenal 2-1 Leicester City
