Rotherham United confirm that strikers Jamie Proctor and Michael Smith have signed new long–term deals with the club until 2021 and 2022 respectively.
Manager Paul Warne has moved to secure the long–term futures of the striking duo who helped the club win promotion after impressing this season.
Proctor’s start to his Millers career ended when he suffered a ACL injury during the home clash against Charlton Athletic last season. He returned to the side when he scored a brace against Wigan Athletic in the Carabao Cup in August.
The Preston-born forward who has gone on to make a further eight appearances, scored his only goal in the 3-2 defeat against Hull, has penned a deal until 2021 with the club.
Smith, who joined Rotherham from Bury in January, helped the Millers secure promotion to the Championship netted six times.
He has produced some good performances so far during the 2018-19 season where he has made 12 apperances scoring once which came when the club faced Ipswich Town in August.
The 26-year old has penned a deal to remain at the AESSEAL New York Stadium until 2022.
