After finally getting another win, Stoke will be looking to add to there points total and cut the gap on those in the play-offs.
After a convincing performance against Bolton, Rowett will be hoping his Stoke side will finally build some momentum after such an inconsistent start to the season. It was refreshing to see a rather resolute defensive display for a change, instead of the usual lack of quality that is seen at the back.
The introduction of Bojan also had a huge impact on the way we performed in the final third, making it imperative he starts the match at Carrow Road. It’s also finally looking like Tom Ince has found his footing, putting in a man of the match display, there’s real hope he can keep that level of form up and help us shoot up the table.
The only one thing I’d change in the line up for this match would be starting Etebo instead of Allen. Although Allen is guaranteed to give you 100%, his form off the ball had left a lot to be desired. Etebo offers us some real quality on the ball, being able to beat players and create space with his nifty footwork.
Norwich City 2-0 Stoke City
Norwich going into this game are in great form, meaning it will be really difficult to get a result at Carrow Road. It’s important to try and get the first goal, something we’ve not done all that often this season. Whenever we concede first we really struggle to get back into the game straight away, which is why it’s so important for us to set the tone. However, I do think we’ll concede the first goal and that we’ll labour to a defeat against a very decent Norwich side.
