Wigan Preview vs Norwich

A successful week for the Latics leaves them in fifth place coming into the tenth round of fixtures. A dream start for Wigan that has seen them become a formidable side at the DW having won four and drawn one so far at home. On the road, however, it has been a different story, having only won one of four, losing the other three.

Another stat that will give home side Norwich city, will be their own form which has seen them win their last three league games and undefeated in September. The form of the City Strikers will also be a concern for Wigan, Teemu Pukki has scored in each of his last three league appearances and Jordan Rhodes grabbed a League Cup hat-trick against Wycombe on Tuesday.

Will Grigg will be a likely change for Wigan from their last game as he missed the Bristol fixture with a knock picked up against Hull. Joe Garner did well on his first start and looked lively, despite being lucky to avoid a red card at one point.

The form of midfield pair Sam Morsy and Lee Evans has also been impressive with the pair looking better and better with each game in the middle. Josh Windass will also be looking to push on after his first Latics goal against Hull and a superb cross that helped Nick Powell to decide the Bristol City game.

Predicted Wigan XI:

James Dunkley Kipre Robinson
Evans Morsy
Jacobs Powell Windass

Norwich 3-1 Wigan

A strangely negative prediction here to say that my team have been outstanding so far this campaign, the away form does worry me though and Norwich are looking in good form at both ends of the pitch.
