Ipswich Town’s winless run continues yet another weekend as they underperformed in a less than impressive 0-0 draw with Bolton Wanderers.
Ipswich outplayed their opponents on Tuesday night, snatching a point against Brentford with an amazing second/half display, but this weekend seemed to be like most weekends so far this season.
The Tractor Boys don’t seem to be playing as well as they should under a manager who last season took his team to the play off final, Paul Hurst has said himself that the players lack confidence during the games.
Hurst even risked Jon Walters against Bolton to try and bag three points but sadly that did not happen and the veteran striker may be rested this weekend to heal his calf injury.
With Ipswich the only team without a win in the championship this season, and them sitting in the relegation zone, it’ll be interesting to see how Hurst will try and combat Town’s fear of pushing up the field.
Ipswich’s next game is away to Birmingham City, who themselves only picked up there first win this weekend – against top of the table Leeds United – let’s hope Town give it their all and bring back three points we’ve all wanted so far this season.
