Tuesday 18th September, The Hawthorns. 8:00pm.
West Bromwich Albion will be hoping to defeat play-off rivals Bristol City as they host the Robbins at The Hawthorns on Tuesday evening.
The Baggies will be wanting to right their wrongs from their unimpressive performance against Midland rivals Birmingham City on Friday.
Albion’s opponents, Bristol City, head into the game on a four game winning streak.
The South West side’s form has propelled them into 3rd position in the Championship, three points above Albion.
West Bromwich Albion:
Albion are expected to be without midfielder James Morrison following injury kept him out of Friday’s game at St. Andrews. New signing Wes Hoolahan is in line to be named in the West Brom squad for the first time. The Baggies will be hoping that Kieran Gibbs will recover from illness to start on Tuesday evening.
City will be without defender Eros Pisano through injury. He joins Hakeeb Adelakun, Mo Eisa, Frank Fielding and Korey Smith out injured for The Robins.
West Brom: Johnstone; Bartley, Hegazi, Dawson; Phillips, Livermore, Barry, Gibbs; Barnes; Gayle and Rodriguez.
Bristol City: Maenpaa, Dasilva, Webster, Brownhill, Diedhiou, Weimann, Kelly, Eliasson, Pack, Kalas, Hunt
I think it will be a tough test for Albion but Darren Moore’s men will be targeting 6 points from their next two home games against City and Milwall. I think Albion will manage to sneak victory 2-1, with Gayle and Hegazi scoring.
